What we collect when you book
When you book a serial online, we ask for the patient's name, mobile number, age and sex, and an optional short description of the problem. We use these details only to arrange the appointment.
Who can see it
Your booking details are stored securely and are seen only by Dr. Afanur and the staff who manage his chamber appointments. They are not sold or shared for advertising. The website uses two service providers to do this: the booking database is hosted by Neon (servers in Singapore), and a copy of each booking is emailed to the chamber team through Resend.
How long we keep it
Booking details are deleted automatically 6 months after the appointment date. To protect the booking form from misuse, the website also keeps short-lived counters of how many bookings come from each internet connection and mobile number; connection addresses are stored only in a scrambled form and these counters are deleted within 2 days.
Calls
When you tap Call, your phone calls the chamber directly. This website does not see or record the call.
Visit statistics
If visit statistics are switched on, the site uses Google Analytics to count page visits and taps on the Book, Call and Directions buttons. It does not send your name, your phone number or your booking details to Google. Google Analytics may set cookies to tell repeat visits apart.
Directions
The Directions button opens Google Maps, which has its own privacy policy.
Removing your details
To have your booking details removed, or for any question about this page, please call the chamber or contact Dr. Afanur through his Facebook page.
